TransTrain is conducting a series of programs to develop drivers for work in the 2016 harvest season.
In partnership with transport employers and with funding made available through the Skills Fund – Seasonal Industries program, TransTrain is working with people who want to develop the skills and knowledge valued by transport employers and relevant to the transport of agricultural produce.
The agricultural harvest season has commenced early this year with many crops now under harvest and transport to factory. The transport task is intense between January through to May / June with operations working 7 days a week. The work is unpredictable however and is often impacted by weather and factory operations.
If you have a Medium Rigid Truck driver licence, or above, experience in the rural sector, available to work for the harvest season, please contact TransTrain and apply for a position on one of our programs.
